Berry Michael “Mike” Davidson

9/15/1954-04/14/2025

Berry Michael “Mike” Davidson,70, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Mike was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, grit, and humor that will continue to echo through the lives of those he cherished most. He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Ann Burgess and Melissa Kaye Dillard (Quentin), and his son, Michael Wayne Davidson (Courtney). Mike’s pride and joy were his seven grandchildren—Zachary, Taylor, Kailan, Aslynn, Quinton, Sydney, and Case Michael—and his two great-grandchildren, Elianna and Cairo, who brought him immense happiness. He is also survived by Debra Dodge, his former spouse and the mother of his children, who remained a dear and constant presence in his life.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Berry Davidson and Geneva Hayes (Shelby Hazes) as well as his siblings, Joe, Annabelle, and Tony, and his nephew, James.

Mike was a man of many interests and talents. A proud former truck driver, he loved the open road almost as much as he loved the feeling of wind on his face while riding a motorcycle. He found peace on horseback and joy in restoring and collecting pocket knives and antique firearms. He had a knack for craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for things built to last. A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Mike also never turned down the chance to sink the eight ball and win a game of pool—especially if bragging rights were involved.

But more than any pastime or title, Mike’s heart belonged to his family. They were his life’s purpose and greatest achievement. He worked hard, laughed often, and never let a moment pass without making sure those he loved knew it. His voice, his stories, and his steady presence will be missed more than words can ever say.

In every way that mattered, Mike Davidson was the glue that held his family together. And though he is no longer here, his legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to guide and comfort those who knew him best.
