Carlos Nava De La Hildaga

Carlos Nava, 50, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025. Born on October 15, 1974, in a small town in Mexico, Carlos lived a life filled with love, laughter, and deep devotion to his family and faith.

Carlos had a warm heart and a generous spirit. He found joy in the simple things—cooking meals for loved ones, enjoying his favorite Mexican rock and Banda music from the '90s, and relaxing with his beloved dogs. Sundays were sacred to him, always spent attending Mass and cherishing time with those closest to him.

In the 2000s, Carlos played soccer in Chicago, a time filled with energy, friendships, and unforgettable memories. Whether he was watching TV, sharing a song, or preparing a family recipe, Carlos brought people together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Raquel Rodriguez Alonso; his children, Judith Nava, Jasmen Nava, and Isaac Muñoz; his cherished grandson, Rommel Fidencio Reyna Nava; and his brothers, Víctor Nava and Israel Nava. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Nava Zuñiga and Silvia De la Hidalga Garcia Puebla.

Carlos’s presence will be deeply missed, but his love and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
