Dale was a proud Kentucky Colonel and was involved in the Boy Scouts of America. he was a co-owner of Higgins Die and Mold Supply.

Known for his love of the outdoors, fishing, UK sports, and all things "nerdy". He was a man of many passions, but his greatest joy came from his family.

Dale’s greatest creations were his daughters; Cynthia Dawn, Ashlee Chase, Whitnee Paige, and Hilaree Jean. So much joy came from him being a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to so many.

He was a man who knew everything about nothing and had an extraordinary ability to take anything apart and put it back together, often with a few extra parts. His sharp, humorous wit will be missed by all who knew him.
