Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Sharp

Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Sharp, 64, passed away on April 1, 2025. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Sarah Sharp; two grandsons, Trenton Sharp and Daniel Willett; and three nephews and a niece.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother and father, Paul and Arzelia Sharp; and his sister, Sherry List.
Jerry was a member of Amvets Post 61, was in a bowling league at Pro Bowl off Fern Valley Rd for many years and welded for Jeff Boat and Intersteel Inc for most of his life.
Jerry was a friend to all and helped anyone he could. He never looked at someone as a stranger, he welcomed them with open arms and a friendly heart. He will be greatly missed by all.

Jerry was my cousin and we ran around getting into trouble for several years. We even won a bowling championship together with Jean and Joan, Jerry’s neighbors from days gone by. Jerry was an awesome bowler and could have gone pro if he wanted. I sometimes regret leaving Louisville and not being around him and others. We had such good times. Rest in Peace, Cuz. You deserve it.

I wasn’t around Jerry a lot but he was always a friendly man and he enjoyed a good laugh. His family meant so much to him.
