Claire Chapman

Claire Chapman, 91, of Adolphus, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024. Born on August 1, 1933, to John Schuehler and Helen Mills, Helen lived a full and loving life, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

She is survived by her daughter, Helen Chapman, and her brother, John Paul Schuehler Jr. Helen was also a proud grandmother to Jennifer (Schenning) Fann and Victor Schenning, and a cherished great-grandmother to Chiara Bandy, Tara Bandy, Colby Bandy, and Austin Fann. She was blessed with many great-great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Chapman, and her sister, Nancy (Schuehler) Nickel, as well as her parents, Helen Estelle (Mills) and John Paul Schuehler Sr.

In her younger years, Helen had a passion for sewing and crafting, often making gifts and special items for her family, including the wedding gown for her daughter. A woman of deep love and quiet strength, Helen’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
