James Hartman

James Shelby Hartman, 78, of New Albany, IN, passed away on October 8, 2024.

James was born on May 26, 1946 in Denver, CO, to the late William and Betty Hartman.  He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his son, Aaron Hartman and spouse, Amee; daughter, Sarah McCammon and spouse, Brian; four grandchildren, Alexus and Lauren Hartman, and Gavin and Kalen McCammon; step-son, Stephen Gibson; step-grandchildren, Kiresten Ooley and Stephen Gibson; two brothers, Bill Hartman, and spouse, Betty (dec.), and Alan Hartman and spouse, Jan; nieces and nephews, Adam and Abby Hartman, and Heather Hartman; and his partner, Regina Varda. 

A private graveside will be held at a later date.
