Jerry Darr Miller

5/19/1945 - 9/29/2024

Jerry Darr Miller, 79,  of Oldham County, Kentucky passed away at his home Sunday September 29, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born in Grand Rapids Michigan to the late Darr and Neva Miller. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Gayle (BeeGee) Starner and brother, James Miller. Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wilma Miller, their 5 sons Rick Petroski (Gayle) Greg Petroski, Scott Petroski (Julie) Jon Miller (Amanda) and Jason Miller (Amy), 11 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Jerry was a devoted husband and father and loved his family dearly. He cherished moments surrounded by his family.
Jerry was a member of the Lagrange Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he was known for his love and zeal in serving his Heavenly Father. Teaching others about the Bible was one of his greatest priorities.
His other loves included music and trips to the beach. Jerry loved to get with friends for “jam sessions”, where he would entertain his biggest fan, Wilma. He especially enjoyed playing music at local restaurants while vacationing in one of his favorite places, Panama City Beach.
Jerry cared deeply about his career, as clearly seen in the legacy of salesmanship that he built over the years. He founded his company, KenInco, Inc nearly 50 years ago working as a sales representative for many companies that supplied various retailers in the hardware industry. He loved to visit his customers and service their stores.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will take place at The Lagrange Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 2319 KY-53, La Grange, KY 40031, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 3:00, followed by a funeral service at 4:30.
