June Lillian White
01/30/1937-12/21/2024
June Lillian White, born on January 30, 1937, to Riley D. White and Evelyn Anita Greene, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and cherished memories.
June’s unwavering faith in God was the cornerstone of her life. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a devoted member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Her spiritual foundation guided her through life’s joys and challenges.
In her younger years, June had a passion for motorcycles, with Harley Davidson being her favorite ride. This adventurous chapter took a pause when she embraced motherhood in 1959, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her family.
June found joy and fulfillment in her career as Head Cashier at Walgreens on 34th and Broadway, where she worked for over 20 years. Her dedication and exceptional service earned her numerous Top Seller Awards, reflecting her hard work and warm interactions with customers. She reluctantly retired during the Covid pandemic to prioritize her health in her early 80s.
Family was June’s greatest pride and joy. She is survived by two sons, Till White and Davis Johnson Jr. (Tiffany), and a daughter, Tammy Logan (Charles). She is preceded in death by her son Antonio D White. She was a loving grandmother to Deontá (Brittani) Javi, Jaci, Jerald, and Dani, and a proud great-grandmother to Sterling. Her memory will also be treasured by countless others whose lives she touched.
June will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, deep faith, and the love she shared with all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

When my granny June used to babysit me and my siblings and she would let me eat all the Ritz crackers I wanted.
