Michael “Mike” J Campbell Jr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael “Mike” J Campbell Jr., a beloved husband, father, and friend. He left us peacefully on 12/08/2024 at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Michael “Mike” J Campbell Jr. was born on 12/29/1948 in Pasadena, CA to Michael and Pricilla Campbell. From a young age, he brought joy, kindness, and a steadfast work ethic to everything he pursued. He shared 37 years of marriage with Mildred “Kathy” Campbell, building a life filled with love, laughter, and partnership.

A devoted father, Mike cherished his children, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, Daughters Michelle Gaffney, Patty (Paul) Butler, Donna Higgs, Suzanne Higgs, and Son Mark (Brandy) Small and took great pride in their accomplishments and growth. His family was the heart of his life, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and compassion.

He worked as a carpenter for 50 years, known for his dedication and kindness to colleagues. Outside of work, he loved woodworking, hunting, and fishing. Michael “Mike” J Campbell Jr. will be dearly missed and forever remembered by Brother John Campbell, and Sister Pricilla Campbell. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit and memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest peacefully, dear Mike. Your love and light will continue to guide us.

A memorial service will be held on December 28, 2024, at 1pm location Vine Grove Christian Church 302 Brown St, Vine Grove, KY 40175, where we will celebrate his life and legacy.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
