Ryan Werfelman, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on November 3, 2024. Born on July 23, 1997, to his loving parents, James and Jennifer Werfelman, Ryan brought a radiant energy and warmth to everyone who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose laughter and resilience touched countless lives.

Ryan is survived by his parents, James and Jennifer Werfelman, and his siblings: Alicia, James Jr., Brandon, Jessyca, Desievee, and Jayne. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Regina Haney, who welcomed him into their embrace.

Known for his big heart and a fun-loving spirit, Ryan was truly the life of every gathering. He cherished simple joys, like collecting movies, gaming on his Xbox, and spending time with his friends. Above all, Ryan had a remarkable compassion for others, especially the homeless, and he was always ready to lend a hand or share a smile.

Despite facing many obstacles, Ryan recently achieved a long-sought milestone by graduating high school and earning his diploma in 2024—a testament to his strength and perseverance. His courage and determination inspired all who knew him.

Ryan’s vibrant presence, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. His light may be gone from this world, but his memory and spirit live on in those he loved and those who loved him.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Rye was my significant other I lost them too soon we spent a total of 5 months and 6 days I was working when it happened rye was the complete opposite to me outgoing genuinely nice and my biggest pleasure to call my love to this day and pretty sure forever I’ll think of the one lost I am sorry I couldn’t keep them safe I am so sorry

He was so loving and would harmonize any song playing at his job when i walked in. Our birthdays are a day apart so we loved each other from the moment we met. I am just now receiving the news about his passing and that itself saddens me, until we meet again 🤍
