Tammy Jean Simms

Tammy Jean Simms, age 60, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength. Born with an open heart and an open mind, Tammy touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and deep empathy for others. She dedicated much of her life to caring for people, working for years as a nursing assistant—a career that reflected her generous spirit and tireless dedication.

Tammy had a lifelong love of animals and a passion for music. She was the kind of person who made space for everyone, offering understanding without judgment, and love without condition.

She is survived by her two beloved children, Ashley and Casey, and her father, Gary Anderson, who has endured the unimaginable loss of all three of his children. Tammy also leave behind two grandchildren, Miles and Killian. Tammy was preceded in death by her sister Sandy Anderson, brother Allen Anderson, and mother Elaine Anderson.

Her absence leaves a profound void, but her memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew her. Tammy Jean Simms will be deeply missed.
