Victoria "Vicki" Guernsey

05/09/1968 - 04/26/2025

Victoria "Vicki" Guernsey, 56, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on April 26, 2025. Born on May 9, 1968, in Louisville, Kentucky to Rose Loman and David Flowers, Vicki lived every one of her days with unmatched color, chaos, and charisma.

She is survived by her daughters—her heart and soul—Kelsey (Ben) Elliott, Brittany (Jill) Von Kanel, and Madison (Jake) Guernsey. Her favorite little human, grandson Johnny Rose Elliott, was the light of her life and the recipient of countless kisses, treats, and probably some sass.

Vicki is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her dear Uncle Bobbie—who we’re sure is currently handing her a margarita and asking what took her so long. She also leaves behind many people she loved dearly.

Vicki was a peacock. Her tattoos were a personal art exhibit, showing off her flair and passion for life (and peacocks). She had a gift for rescuing dogs, collecting outrageous décor, and turning her backyard into her own resort: the legendary "VICTOPIA", a place of summer nights, big laughs, bigger stories, and even bigger personality.

Her laugh could echo across counties. She loved margaritas—but only at Mexican restaurants, because that’s how the margarita gods intended it. She was a firm believer in no shoes, questionable movie choices (preferably Lifetime or delightfully bad B-movies), and unconditional love for her girls. Anything with her daughters was an event—and a memory.

Her sense of humor was unmatched, her style was loud in the best way, and her obsession with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will live on through her daughters, who may or may not still have to hear about his smile from beyond.

Vicki could make a friend out of a stranger in under a minute and make that stranger feel like family. Her vibrant energy was contagious, her love fierce, and her spirit unforgettable.

The world is just a little quieter, a little less sparkly, and far less fun without her. So wear something bright, raise a margarita, and laugh a little louder—for Vicki; May 9 on Her Birthday to celebrate her Life.

Celebration of Life to be held at Endris Lodge in Lapping Park, 2404 Greentree N, Clarksville, IN, 47129. May 9th, 2025 starting at 4pm.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.

She was the most fun to be around and always had a smile. My heat is broken and my thoughts and prayers to the family and her friends.
