Alvin Terry "Pop" Beck

Alvin Terry (Pop) Beck, age 70 of Georgetown, Indiana, formally of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away Wednesday June 3rd, 2020 with his wife and son by his side.
He worked at Atlanta Wire Works in Jonesboro, Ga. for 30 years and Southern States in Hampton, Ga for 12 years.
He had a strong faith in God and was a member of Cedar Rock Church in Jackson, Ga. He was a great family man that possessed a gentle strength that made others feel like family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Sidney Beck and Hester Morris.
He is survived by his wife; Peggy Beck; son; Travis Beck; daughter in law; Carol Beck; grandchildren; Travis (Scott) Beck Jr and Ashton Beck; great grandchildren; Natalie Schaefer and Lyla Johnson; brothers; Wayne Beck, Tommy Beck; sisters; Gwendolyn Thigpen, Ina Mason, Dale Dodson, Leisa Cook.
In the near future the family will have a memorial service in Georgia to honor him.

Terry Beck was a real man of God. He always told me that he prayed for us every night. We loved him so much. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts. I know heaven is celebrating your arrival. RIP.

John and I thought that Terry was one of the most kind and sweet man we’d we ever met. We really hated to see them go when they moved but we understand. Terry there is absolutely no doubt where you are friend. We love you and sweet Peggy. Till we meet again in heaven buddy. Peggy and family we love you and are so sorry for your loss.
