Edith Jane McCawley

January, 30, 1959 - August, 14, 2021

Edith Jane McCawley, age 62, of New Albany, Indiana, transcended back into nature at Clark Memorial hospital surrounded by family and friends on August 14, 2021 at 7:00pm. She is preceded in death by her parents; Norris and Marilyn McCawley and sister; Cindy Harris. She is survived by her children; Athena (Charlie) Meyer and Kalin (Jessica) Meyer, grandchildren; Trysten, Logan, and Rayden Meyer, and her siblings; Anita Napier, Cathy McCawley, Sonja Lausterer, and Shawn McCawley. Edith also had many beloved friends and “adopted” children who will miss her dearly. Edith was a bright light that will be sorely missed. Edith will have two celebration of life services. The first will be at Uptown Bar in New Albany on August 21, 2021 at 8:00 pm. The second will be at the family farm located at 241 G Stephens Road Columbia, KY 42728 on September 11, 2021. This will be an all-day event starting at noon, and you are welcome to bring tents to stay the night.
