Jason Caudill

September, 27, 1969 - November, 29, 2021

Jason Barry Caudill, 52 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away suddenly on Monday, November 29th, 2021.  He leaves behind his children, Lindi Caudill, Jordan Shircliff and Josie Shircliff.  He will be missed greatly by those who could always count on him to help out in a pinch.  He was hard-working, loyal and loved animals, especially Draco, his grand dog. He will be missed dearly by his mother, Barbara Campbell; sisters, Whitney Caudill Bishop and Mary Campbell; and brothers Benjamin Haley and Thomas Campbell.  His cousins, nieces, nephews and all the kids and friends of the family will miss his presence.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Barry Caudill and an infant daughter, Jessica.

Jason was an incredible musician, playing guitar for more than 35 years.  He loved UK basketball, country ham from Morris’ Deli, Eddie Van Halen and being there for family and friends, no matter what.  We will miss his generosity, his voice and his famous melt in your mouth stuffed mushrooms.

He would be annoyed by our making any kind of a fuss about him, so there won’t be a formal service, however, if you want to honor Jason’s memory here’s what we suggest.  When a friend calls to ask for help, drop everything and go do it.  When you come across a favorite childhood game that you’re ready to let go of, take it to a kid you love and show them how to play it.  Pass it down to them.  When you see an animal in distress, tend to it.  When you see a basketball player make a good move or a dumb mistake on the court, yell at the tv.

Thank you for being you Jason.  There will never be another like you.
