Alan Lee Yelton

Alan Lee Yelton, 56, of Floyds Knobs, IN, passed away peacefully on Jan. 3rd 2022.
In his younger years, Alan enjoyed playing softball with his friends and working on his cars. When Alan was growing up, he spent many weekends hunting with his father and brothers. Alan was a diesel mechanic by trade, which he did his entire life. He enjoyed spending time with his children and taking them on adventurous trips to different parks and streams.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Leonard G. Yelton Jr.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Joseph and Matthew, his Mother, Mary Yelton, two brothers, Ron Yelton ( DeAnn), Gordon Yelton ( Tracy) and a sister Michelle Miller ( Eric Jackson).
Alan loved his family and will be missed by so many.
Cremation has been chosen and Magnolia Cremations of New Albany, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Nobody can bob for apples like Lee. He’d stick his whole head in the water chasing an apple. Nobody could sport a Mullet at a rock concert better than Lee. I’ll miss crossing paths with him at different places around town. We’ll miss you Lee. We’ll see you in the next adventure. God Bless Aunt Mary and the whole family. I’ll pray for you.
