Edward Walter Tomlinson

February, 09, 1971 - February, 08, 2023

Edward Walter Tomlinson, 51, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away on February 8, 2023 after fighting a long and hard battle with heart disease and failure. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Clyde Tomlinson Jr.; and his mother, Barbara Ann Wojchiehowski-Giacobbe. 

He leaves behind his children, Randall Leon (Brianna) Hall, Bianca (Michael) Wolz; grandchildren, Addison Marie Pudinoff, Derek Leon Pudinoff, Miles David Decker, Barrett Vincent Hall, and Willow Mae Wolz. 

Everyone that knew Edward knows how full of life he was, and that he was constantly telling dad jokes. He was witty and incredibly smart. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Conyngham during Desert Storm. Edward was very proud to serve in the military. After getting out of the Navy, Edward became an over the road truck driver. He devoted his life to truck driving from that point on and enjoyed driving until he couldn't anymore. In his spare time he enjoyed playing video games and building computers. 

Per Edward's wishes, there will not be a service. At a later date, there will be a private ceremony to scatter his ashes where he was stationed while in the Navy. Edward left a huge impact on this world and on his family, There are no words to describe how much he is loved and how much he will be missed.
