Annette "Toni" Masden

5/16/1960 - 6/16/2024

Annette (Toni) made her final transition on the evening of June 16, 2024, unexpectedly in her home.

Though she spent most of her life in Southern Indiana and Louisville Kentucky, she also lived in Ohio and Michigan. She is survived by her sons, David Vincent and Justin Barger; her daughter Franchesca; grandchildren, Jonathan, Alyson, Amber and Andrew; her mother, Myrna Papin; siblings, Mike, Jeff (Becky), Tim and Theresa; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She loved her children more than anything else on earth. She was an amazing mother, a friend to them and they knew that she was someone they could always count on. She was a rock when they needed someone to protect them and she embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her family and friends.

With a degree in healthcare, specifically Ob-Gyn Research, Toni was always someone with a heart for service. Taking care of other people was her passion. She believed that everyone deserved love and wanted to make sure that her patients and her family all felt that from her. Toni lived her life the best way that she knew and left this earth hoping that her children would find love, safety, and peace in this mixed-up world. While our hearts mourn the loss of a beloved mother, daughter, Mimi, sister, and aunt, we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May she be remembered for her infectious smile and kind and caring heart. Please keep her children in your thoughts and prayers as they lay their mother and best friend to rest.
