I remember the pleasure of babysitting for Berta many years ago when she and her family lived in Plantation. Beth, Sarah and Brad were awesome children. Berta was always upbeat and her smile was infectious. Our Lord has welcomed her with wide open arms, may sweet Berta Rest In Peace❤️

Wow! So shocked to read this. Berta and I shared some wonderful times together in the Plantation days. So sorry to hear this. My love and condolences to Sarah, Beth and Matt, plus all her loved ones. Hugs and love to each of you.

Sherman and Rosemary

Berta was a kind and compassionate person who often put others needs ahead of her own. I never had interaction with her in her nursing profession, but I’m sure she was a wonderful nurse. Sherman and I have happy memories of spending a fun weekend with Berta, Tom, Gemma and Marty house boating on Cumberland River!
Rest in peace, dear Berta.
