Chelsie Del Cleary

02/18/1991 - 06/01/2024

Chelsie Del Cleary, 33, born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 18, 1991, to her parents, Monika and Michael. With heavy hearts, we announce that Chelsie passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Chelsie is survived by her devoted soul mate, Mirna Martinez Venegas; Mirna's daughters, Amanda and Naomi; and a cherished cat, Pepper. She is also survived by her father and his wife, Michael James and Karen Cleary; her two older sisters, Brittiany (Craig) Sells and Jessika Cleary; grandmothers, Alma Cleary and Traude Kerr; nieces and nephews, Tessa and Colten Sells and Jesse and McKinley Cleary. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chelsie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Monika Briggette Kerr; grandfather, James Kerr; aunts and uncles, Chris and Patricia Kerr, Rick and Denise Kerr, and Ben Kerr; cousin, Tyler Kerr; and her dear cat, Leopold. Each of these losses shaped her life and the deep empathy she extended to others.

Chelsie, known for her vibrant spirit and kind heart, was a true lover of life's simple pleasures. Her fondness for cats was unmatched, and in her time with Mirna her home was always filled with the gentle purring of her feline companions. Music was another of Chelsie's great loves; she found solace and joy in melodies that spoke to her soul. At any gathering, Chelsie could be found by the food table, savoring every bite and sharing quiet laughter and stories with those around her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her kind and empathetic soul. While Chelsie's time with us was cut short, her memory will endure in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace, in the loving arms of her mother, surrounded by the music she loved and the comfort of her cherished cats.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, June 7th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel in the Woods located at 1407 Moser Road. The memorial service will commence at 1:00 PM, offering a time for shared memories and heartfelt tributes.

Following the service, there will be a Celebration of Life held immediately in the Fireside Room, across the street at Southeast, continuing until 4:00 PM. This gathering will provide an opportunity for loved ones to come together, share stories, and commemorate the cherished moments of a life well-lived.

Your presence and support during this time of remembrance are deeply appreciated. We look forward to celebrating the legacy and lasting impact of our dearly departed in the company of family and friends.
