Christine Ann Cox

Christine Ann Cox, age 60, of Madisonville, Kentucky, and originally from Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at her home on September 15, 2024. Born on September 5, 1964, to Loretta Cox, Christine was a loving mother, cherished grandmother, and kindhearted soul who brought warmth and compassion to all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Sarah Garcia, 33, and Lorraine Johnson, 34, both of Madisonville, Kentucky, who were her pride and joy. Christine’s love extended to her eight precious grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her gentle spirit and generous heart. She is also survived by her sister, Kim Phillips of Madisonville, Kentucky; and brother, Jerry Cox of Florida. 

Christine was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Cox, and John Hall, both of whom she held dear in her heart.

A lover of books, Christine could often be found immersed in a good story, and she had a deep appreciation for Indian music, which brought her peace and comfort. She was happiest when surrounded by family, sharing laughter, love, and kindness with those she treasured most. Christine had a passion for helping others and never hesitated to lend a hand or offer a comforting word. Her warmth and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Christine’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of her daughters, grandchildren, and all who were touched by her gentle presence. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and love.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
