I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss, Nani and Sarah! Your Dad and I reconnected awhile back and chatted from time-to-time. He was so proud of you girls! I know you miss him…after losing my own dad many years ago, that feeling of loss never quite goes away. But take comfort in all the wonderful memories of him, that’s what gets me through tough days. Sending (((hugs)) to you both!

Once Dad came to save me from a breakup with a boyfriend in Lexington. He came and moved my entire apartment out down three stories, single handedly. Then let me live with him in a little house next to Grandpa Jim’s house with my orange cat for a couple weeks. We went to Ponderosa and watched Burn Notice on my iPhone 4 and enjoyed the simple things. That’s just one of many times Dad came to the rescue for me or Nani. He always showed up.
