Debora Goffinet, 61, of Tell City, Indiana, originally from Chicago, Illinois, passed away on March 11, 2024. Born on April 18, 1962, to Robert and Bea Worsley, Debora's vibrant spirit touched the lives of many.

Debora is survived by her devoted spouse, Mark Goffinet, and her cherished children: Matthew (Christina Houston) Rideout, Michelle (Tim) Hayes, Alyssa (Jon) Fulkerson, and Kyle (Taylor Leinenbach) Goffinet. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her beloved grandchildren: Will Rideout, Addison Rideout, Cohen Hensley, Grayson Fulkerson, Nelda Fulkerson, Lily Hayes, and Max Hayes. She is also survived by her sisters, Kelli (Jim) Hardesty and Stephanie Armanetti, as well as her parents-in-law, Stan and Cheryl Goffinet, and brother-in-law, Tim (Erin) Goffinet. Debora will be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father, Bob Worsley, mother, Bea Worsley, and nephew, Adam Hardesty, Debora's memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Debbie's zest for life was evident in her love for camping, travel adventures with friends, and her dedication to fitness, always inspiring those around her. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her grandchildren and visiting her daughter and grandkids in Maine. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Debora exemplified courage and strength throughout her life.

A celebration of Debora's life will be held on Friday, March 15th, 2024, from 4 PM to 9 PM at the Tell City American Legion. Family and friends are warmly invited to join. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to RIVERS EDGE ANIMAL SHELTER in Perry County, Indiana. Let us honor Debora's memory by embracing life's adventures and spreading love wherever we go.

I remember meeting Debbie for the first time many years ago. It was in Maine. We all went to Old Orchard Beach together. It was her first time seeing the ocean. She was mesmerized.
