Elwood Ritchie, 82, of Ewing, Kentucky, passed away on March 11, 2024 .  Elwood was born in Ritchie, KY, on January 26, 1942, to the late Sidney Ritchie and Bertha (Conley) Ritchie.  He was married to the late Judy (Fleming) Ritchie, and he is survived by their daughter, Charlotte, and granddaughter, Miranda.   Elwood is also survived by his sister, Sylvia Ritchie Rowland of Las Vegas, NV; his brother, Allen Ritchie of Fountain, CO; and a host of nieces and nephews.   Elwood was preceded in death by his brothers, Winfield Ritchie, Sidney Tucson Ritchie, Newell Graden Ritchie , Kenneth Warren Ritchie, Chadwick O’Neil Ritchie, and his sister Colleen Ritchie Daugherty.   Elwood is a veteran who proudly served in the United States Army.  He was much loved by his family, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.   Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
