Gale Houston

Gale Houston, 57, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on June 26, 2024. Gale is survived by her father, Bobby Houston; sisters, Jackie Patterson, Debra Slone, and Ricki Rein; and brothers, Duke Houston and Billy Houston. She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Houston.

Gale had a passion for cooking, yard work, decorating, painting, and singing. She dedicated several years to working in a nursing home, where her love for elderly people shone brightly. Gale cherished family gatherings and had a true servant's heart, always eager to help and care for others. Her laugh must be infectious, the kind that lights up a room and brings joy to everyone around. It's wonderful to have such a positive presence!

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life; she loved the Word of God and enjoyed sharing conversations about Jesus with others. Gale worked many different jobs and excelled in a variety of tasks, known for her hard work and honesty. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
