Gary Strickler

Gary Strickler, a loving brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of joy, adventure, and a deep love for life. Born and raised in Muskegon, MI, Gary graduated from Grand Haven High School, where he created lasting memories that he cherished throughout his life.

Gary was known for his love of the outdoors, enjoying boating, camping, riding motorcycles, snowboarding, and swimming in Lake Michigan. His vibrant spirit and zest for life were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beloved family member, surviving by his twin sister, Jean (Ken) Cook; sister-in-law, Willa Strickler; nieces Sheila Tiles, Kaylie Gradisher, and Jadynn Cook Gradisher, along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gary's also leaves behind his good neighbors Justin and Kristy Knecht and Cindy Blanton.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth (Dockweiler) and Orville Strickler; his siblings, Bruce, Sherry, Brian, and Sandy; and his beloved nephews, Kyle Cook, Baby Bruce Cook, and his special person, Maximus Orion Scott, whom he lovingly considered a grandson.

Gary's family and friends will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He will be deeply missed, but his love of life and the adventures he embraced will remain a guiding light for all who knew him.
