Glenda Ems Sieg Laswell

Glenda Ems Sieg Laswell, age 75, of Elizabeth, Indiana, peacefully joined her loved ones in eternal rest on April 19, 2025.

Born on June 29, 1949, Glenda was the cherished daughter of James Gerald and Doris Mosier Ems. She was known for her spirited love of life, quick wit, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Glenda found joy in the simple pleasures—gathering around the table for a game of Euchre or Pinochle, or sharing the field with her daughters in a friendly game of volleyball or softball. Her deep love for animals, especially her dogs, was always evident and added warmth and companionship to her days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Bonnie Salmon and Janet Dunaway, and her brother James Ems. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Gail Johnson, Donna Milliner (David), and Karen Sears (Michael Richmond), along with her dear Pug, Otis. She will also be deeply missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought so much joy and meaning to her life.

The family will honor and celebrate Glenda’s life privately at a later date. In remembering her, may we carry forward her love of laughter, loyalty, and the value of time spent together.
