Jason Wesley Wilson of Beattyville, KY, born April 3rd, 1947 in Oxford Township, MI departed this life on July 12, 2024 at the age of 77 years. Jason was a member of the Beattyville Baptist Church and a retired employee of Beattyville Waterworks where he worked for over 27 years.


Jason was the widower of the late Lillie Mae Wilson and the proud father of Jason (Michelle) Wilson of Nicholasville, KY, Annette (Tony) Prentice of Georgetown, KY, Michelle (Ricky) Shuler of Richmond, KY, Rene` (Gary) McLendon, Carrie (John) Parks, and Josh (Tiffany) Wilson, all of Stanton, KY. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Suzette Wilson of Stanton, KY. He was the loving grandpa to Reagan Wilson, Sloane Paxton-Dasher, Tristan Weber, Summer Hayden, Trinity and Brennan Shuler, Ezekiel (Brooke) Phillips, and Katelyn (Billy) White, Kelsey (Sean) Croslin, Allen and Kaylyn Wilson. great grandchildren Marissa, Kadynce, Kimberly, Alexander White, Weston Phillips, and Hayden Croslin. Jason is also survived by his brother Glenn and sisters, Jennie and Sylvia and a host of other relatives and friends.


Jason will be remembered most for his funny, and sarcastic but loving demeanor. He was always taking care of everyone but didn’t like to be taken care of himself. He was very humble, hardworking, and always kept his family and friends close. The most important things that stood out to his children about him were his ability to listen, his love, patience, tender heart and always being able to count on him for sound advice, not just what they wanted to hear. They will always treasure the time they spent with him and his ability to make each one feel so special and loved.


Jason was preceded in death by his parents William and Leola Wilson, his wife Lillie Mae Wilson, brothers Wilbur, Clarence, Morris, Ralph, and Gerald, and sisters Pearl, Glenna, Margie, Phyllis and Ruby and a very special grandson Wesley Aaron Wilson.
