Joan Ashcraft

Joan Ashcraft, 86, of Frankfort, Kentucky passed away on July 1, 2024. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Ricky) Wood; grandchildren, Tonya (Scott) Blackburn, Justin Wood, Brandon Wood; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Blackburn and Savannah Wood; best friend, Larry Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. 

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Bonnie Couch; sisters, Juanita Baker, Jean Wooldridge; brother, Keith Eversole; nieces, Carla Yeast and Bonnie Allen; son-in-law, Ricky Wood. 

Joan was an avid collector of antiques. Her favorite things to collect were all things Betty Boop and old red trucks. She enjoyed her time spent living at King's Daughter's Apartments in Frankfort, Kentucky and all of the time she spent with her friends there. 

Services for Joan will be on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 at 1:00pm at First Christian Church, 316 Ann Street, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
