Judy Ann Meyer Bennett

Judy Ann Meyer Bennett, age 83 of Lebanon, passed away on April 15th at home in the loving arms of her daughter Sharon. She was born in Louisville to the late Roy and Jessie Hummel Meyer.

Judy was a work at home mom so she could raise her beloved daughters to be strong, independent, caring women. She loved to sew, knit, crochet, work puzzles and read. Family members and friends through the years received head bands, hats, scarves, shawls, and blankets to cherish forever. She loved gardening, flowers, and hummingbirds,

After leaving Lebanon in 1990 she returned to Louisville to take care of her parents, and in 1994 she took a job with Taylor Homes until her retirement in 2012. She was the Executive Secretary to the president of the company, Chris Taylor, who was truly the son she never had.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She leaves behind two daughters Sharon “Sam” Bach (Chris) and Danielle “Dani” Wood (Bobby); a stepdaughter, Beth Sanders; grandchildren, Jamie Morris (Krista), Joey Morris (Lori), Jeremy Morris (Kaitlyn), Jaron Morris (Aly), Dee Shelton, Kane Shelton and Heather Bach; great-grandchildren, Jason, Isabelle, and Camden Morris; a sister, Millie Bayer (Terry); niece Kelli Wilder (Tim); and nephew Chris Bayer. Judy also leaves behind her two beloved cats, Bella and Popi.

There will be a memorial/celebration of life on April 27th from 2p.m. until 6 p.m. at Ellingsworth Commons Clubhouse, 3910 Bird Song Way, Jeffersonville, IN, 47130.
