Kenneth Franklin Lewis Jr, age 68, of Vincennes, Indiana, formerly of Sciotoville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, Indiana. Kenneth, known as Frank, was born April 13, 1956, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the eldest son of the late Kenneth and Susan (Fisher) Lewis-Moeser.

Frank was a 1974 graduate of Portsmouth East High School in Sciotoville, Ohio. He went on to further his education at The Electronic Technology Institute of Cleveland, OH with his beloved sister Kathy by his side. He started his biomedical career at SOMC in Portsmouth, OH. Frank, who had an entrepreneurial spirit, went on to travel extensively & established numerous businesses during his career as a biomedical engineer.  He was extremely proud of his influence on his brother, Jeff and stepson Caleb, who both went on to pursue careers in the biomedical field. He continued to pass on his love of biomedical engineering when he became a biomedical professor at Vincennes University in Indiana.

Frank restored countless classic cars and enjoyed showing them at local car shows with his family in tow. His favorite classic car was his prized 1967 Camaro, black with white stripes. He was a lifelong dirt track racing enthusiast & loved watching his oldest grandson, Bryson, race, hold car shows & carry on his love for all things cars. Frank enjoyed fishing and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was a member of Mariah Creek Christian Church in Oaktown, Indiana, and was also a member of Sciotoville United Methodist Church in Sciotoville, Ohio for many years. He enjoyed being active in the Emmaus Community.

He is survived by three daughters;  Nichelle Lewis, Charity (Benjamin) Etterling and Mandi Lewis; four stepchildren, Arriana Hoke, Caleb Hoke, Jacob (Alyssa) Hoke, and Austin (Kiesha) Hoke; four siblings, Kathy (Joe) Dulje, Peggy Spears, Jennifer Lewis, and Jeffrey (Jamie) Lewis; and 12 grandchildren all of whom he dearly loved. 

Please join the family for a celebration of life at Christ Global Church in Sciotoville, OH on Frank's birthday, Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 1:00pm.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Well Frank, we had a great time at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. From the stories of the bands past that you told me to just hanging out. I still have the T-shirt!. Guess I will see ya in the BIG HALL of FAME with the ALL STAR HIMSELF.
