Kenneth N. Rarden

12/10/1947 - 03/06/2024

Kenneth Noyes Rarden, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, embraced his final journey on March 6, 2024. Born to Robert and Billie Rarden, he leaves behind a legacy of love and adventure.

Kenneth's heart found solace in the company of his beloved Anne McMahon of Corydon, IN, his loving companion. He is also survived by his son, William (Bill) Rarden, daughter Angela Rarden, sisters Ruth Reasor and Sue Nilest, and cherished nieces Melissa and Diane, and nephews John and Matthew.

Ken's life was a tapestry woven with threads of exploration and camaraderie. He and Anne traversed the globe, immersing themselves in diverse cultures across England, Australia, and the United States over the past two decades. Corydon, IN, became a sanctuary for Ken, where he found joy in the presence of his faithful canine companions and the serenity of his enchanting Koi Pond.

A distinguished veteran of the Vietnam War, Ken selflessly volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army, with deployments in Germany and Korea. Following his military service, he dedicated years of his life to the Dupont Chemical Plant in Louisville, where he eventually retired.

Ken's journey began at P.R.P. High School in Louisville, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with curiosity and accomplishment.

In honoring Kenneth Noyes Rarden, we celebrate a life richly lived—a man whose adventurous spirit and unwavering devotion touched the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory continue to inspire us to embrace each moment with passion and purpose.
