Ms. Liane (Lee) Fritsch Triplett, age 81, of Nabb, Indiana entered this life on October 12, 1942 in Bílovec (Wagstadt), Czechoslovakia. She is the loving daughter of late Rudolf and Anna Fritsch. She grew up in West Germany and then moved to the United States.

She lived most of her adult life in Milton, Ky. Most people will remember her from the 25 years she worked as a waitress/manager at the Steer Restaurant in Madison, Indiana. When the Steer closed she then worked for 15 years and retired from Walmart in Madison, Indiana.

Liane battled her last 5 years with dementia. She died peacefully on December 6, 2023 in her home with her family. Liane will be missed by her 5 daughters, Liana Wingham of Bedford, Ky; Debra Fox of Louisville, Ky; Michelle Hunt and her husband Mike of Madison, In; Erika Jones and her husband Matt of Milton, Ky; Pamela Welsh and her husband Kevin of Nabb, In; 9 grandchildren, Natasha Triplett, Amber McIntyre (Justin), Michael Triplett, Eugene Crawford (Amber), Chad Wingham (Nikki), Stevie Ghrist, Billy Crawford (Kayla), Trey, and Christian; her neice Liane Becker and husband Hans-Jürgen, great nephew Oliver Becker of Bruchköbel, Germany.

She will be missed by many great grandchildren. Any child brought into the family became one of her own. Even the ones with 4 paws. She is proceeded in death by her father Rudolf Fritsch, her mother Anna Böhm Fritsch, her sister Ingrid Fritsch Schäfer, her brother in law Ludwig Schäfer and her great grandson Jackson Wingham.

Per Liane's request there will not be a visitation or funeral.

Where do I start? She was my second mom. I spent more time at her house with Erika than my own home I think. She treated me just like one of her own, loving me and scolding me lol.
When she got dementia, I would see her out with Pammy, I would worry she wouldn’t know me but she always did! She’d hug me and kiss me every time!
I loved her so much and I’ll always remember her. She was an amazing woman!

Lee was a special person. Never met a stranger. She came into our family with Michelle. I loved this lady. I had the upmost respect for her. May she rest in peace
