Marie Perry

Marie Ann Perry was called home on Friday, September 29th , 2023, in Louisville, KY with her family by her side. She was born on March 20th , 1954, to the late Caroline and John Berg in Fort Benning, Georgia.

Marie was a nurse. She loved helping people and had a passion to serve others! She had a green thumb and found happiness with gardening. She also enjoyed cheering for UK, painting and above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids (she didn’t miss a beat)!

Marie was survived by her husband Gary Perry, 3 daughters Rebecca (Jamie) Schmitt, Danielle (Derek) Wright, Morgan Wyatt, 2 sisters Kathleen (Dennis) Allamon, Doreen (Roger) Couch, 3 stepchildren, Sean Perry, Nicole Perry and Aaron Perry, several nieces and her nephew Allen(Amanda)Brocato. Marie will be dearly missed by all her grandkids.

Marie would want her life to be honored rather than her death be remembered. There will be a celebration for Marie’s life Thursday, October 5th , 2023, starting around 4-5pm at Mike Linnings 9308 Cane Run Rd. 40258. This will be a time to share your stories and memories of Marie.
