Nathan Ray Kauffman

2/22/1971 - 6/8/2024

Nathan Ray Kauffman, 53, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 8th, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born February 22, 1971. He was adopted by Joseph "Paul" and Mildred Kauffman as an infant. Nathan was an amazing artist, and had a sweet, charming personality, he also liked music.

He is preceded in death by his biological mother, Mary "Kat" Katherine Rhine; and his father, Joseph "Paul" Kauffman. 

He is survived by his fiancé, Leah Adkins; mother, Mildred Kauffman; brothers, Paul Jr. (Annette) Kauffman, Phillip (Kellie) Kauffman; and many nieces and nephews. 

There will be a double service for Nathan and his father, Paul, on July 13th at Harrisonburg Mennonite Church at 11:00am, this will be available on live stream for those who can't attend. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to VMRC Compassion Fund.
