Peter Wiggington

December 15, 1946 ~ March 18, 2023

Mr. Peter John Wigginton of Georgetown, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 and will be dearly missed by family and friends.  Mr. Wigginton recently moved from Covington, Kentucky.

Mr. Wigginton is preceded in death by his wife, Ida Wigginton; his parents, Allen Michael Wigginton Sr. and Gloria Wigginton; siblings, Debra (Debbie) Neff, Patricia (Pat) Montano, and Marlene Wigginton. 

Mr. Wigginton is survived by his two children; his daughter, Petrina Wigginton-Brown along with her two sons Kodi and Hunter, and his son Peter James (PJ) Wigginton; and 3 step-children, Connie Goins, Tommy Lambert and Cathy Albani; and siblings Allen Michael (Mike) Wigginton Jr., Kathleen Witt, Dennis (Denny) Wigginton, Charlene Segura, Patrick (Bubby) Wigginton, Cynthia (Cindy) Gish, Candie Baker, Jackie Gray, Tammie Justice, Judy Wigginton; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wigginton served in the US Army. He loved bowling and achieved 2 perfect scores of 300 during his career. Peter loved betting on the ponies at the racetrack, and he was a cameraman for the racetracks in Turfway and Riverdowns.  Mr. Wigginton was known to be witty, a jokester, and he never met a stranger.

Mr. Wigginton wished to be cremated and no funeral service or visitation will be held.

Mr. Wigginton’s family would like all donations to go to Hosparus of Southern Indiana in New Albany.
