Randy Lee Hedden

04/29/1947 - 12/18/2023

Randy Lee Hedden passed away peacefully December 18, 2023. He was the son of Thomas and Charlotte Hedden. He was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, and he proudly completed ten years of sobriety last year.

As a Vietnam Veteran, Randy served his country as an Air Force aircraft mechanic in Thailand. Randy returned to the University of Louisville after the Air Force, completing his undergraduate degree. He worked as a creative graphic designer at Deckel and Moneypenny until his retirement.

Randy amazed everyone with his artistic talents, and he loved entertaining. He was a kind, caring soul and was always ready to help his friends, of which he had many. Randy was talented and enthusiastic in the kitchen as well, and proudly transformed his neighborhood gathering place, Diamond Station, into a fine dining establishment, the Diamanté Grill.

Randy was adventurous, loved the outdoors, and a master at fishing and whitewater canoeing.

Special thanks go to those closest to Randy who cared for him recently, especially Scott, Christine, Pam, and Sally.

Details regarding a celebration of this special man's life will be announced at a later date.
