Stewart Dean Kopp, 45, of New Albany, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2023.
Stewart was born on August 8, 1978 to Gerald W. Kopp Sr. and Betty R. Kopp.
Stewart was a fun and loving kind of guy, always making you laugh. He enjoyed writing music and rapping. He was an Indianapolis Colts fan that enjoyed playing pool and the great outdoors. He was a member of the 40&8 in New Albany, Indiana.
Stewart is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Margaret Denkler, and Donald and Kay Kopp; nephew, John Todd Embry Jr., and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tonia Kopp; step-children, C.J. Thompson and Shell Bell; his parents, Gerald and Betty Kopp; brother, Gerald W. Kopp Jr.; sisters, Sonia (John) Kopp, Rebecca (Barry) Page, Maggie (Asa) Kopp; nephews, Austin Wilson, Barry Page Jr., Ayden Glade, Huxley Glade, and Timothy Kopp; nieces, Raven Beauford, Amber Wilson, and Erika Duchesnerau; great nephew, Deontae Young Jr.; and three step-grandchildren, Zayden, Zane, and Jaydenn.
There will be a celebration of life for Stewart held on Saturday, December 2nd from 2-5pm at 40&8, 221 Albany Street, New Albany, IN 47150.

I knew him when we and his sisters were kids and we had lot’s of fun playing. He definitely was funny! He will be missed. He did love music and singing he was pretty good.
