Virginia Scofield

Virginia Scofield, 82, of Laconia, Indiana, passed away on June 21, 2024. Born in Clay, Kentucky, on June 20, 1942, she was a woman of great love and enduring faith.
Virginia devoted her life to her family, her church, and her community. She was a talented cook and enjoyed working on many projects around her home. Her dedication to her faith was evident in her regular church attendance and the compassionate way she lived her life.
Left to honor Virginia and remember her love are her children, Diana Young, Dennis Jr. Young, Douglas Young, and Denise Bodkin; her grandchildren, Destiny, Cindy, Lisa, Cheyenne, Jordan, Andrew, Adam; her great-grandchildren, Bobby Jo, Randy, Hadley, Clayton, Lilian, and Lincoln; and her great great grandchildren, Kulture. She now joins in eternal peace, her beloved husband, Dennis Scofield; her son, James Michael; and her twelve siblings.
In keeping with Virginia's wishes, there will be no services. Virginia's generous spirit and unwavering love will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

I remember Aunt Gin for being a very kind woman. My Mom was her older sister and those two would make plans to travel. I wished they would have got to, but I know they are together now and rejoicing. She will be missed by many.
