Vona "Diane" Embry

Vona "Diane" Embry, 92, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on February 12, 2024. 

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lavey; sister, Mary Deel; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; a nephew and two nieces; and three great-nephews and four great-nieces. 

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Delos Miller and Anna Strain Chastain; her husband, Alfred Mayer; and sons, William "Bill" Mayer and John Mayer. 

Diane had a special love for animals, so in lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to an animal shelter of your choice. 

Cremation has been chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements. There will be no public services for Diane at this time.
