Refund policy

1. Return Eligibility (Merchandise):
Unused, non-personalized merchandise may be returned for a refund or store credit within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of purchase. To be eligible for return, merchandise must be in its original, unused condition and accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase. Magnolia Cremations reserves the right to inspect all returned items prior to issuing a refund or credit.


2. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Merchandise:
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances:


  • Any urns, keepsakes, jewelry, or other memorial products that have been filled with cremated remains (“cremains”);
  • Any merchandise that has been personalized or customized, including but not limited to items engraved or altered at the customer’s request.


Once a product has been personalized or used, the sale is final, and no refund, return, or exchange will be permitted.


3. Non-Refundable Services:
All cremation-related services are non-refundable once rendered, including but not limited to:


  • Cremation services
  • Transportation and transfer fees
  • Private family viewings
  • Filing and procurement of state-issued death certificates


Additionally, Magnolia Cremations cannot issue refunds or credits for any certified death certificates ordered on the customer’s behalf from the States of Kentucky or Indiana.


4. Damaged, Inaccurate, or Incorrect Merchandise:
If an item arrives damaged, inaccurate, or incorrect — including but not limited to errors in engraving attributable to Magnolia Cremations — the customer must notify Magnolia Cremations within seven (7) business days of receipt. Upon timely notification and verification:

 

  • Magnolia Cremations will provide a replacement item at no additional charge to the customer.
  • No refunds will be issued for personalized items, but a corrected replacement will be guaranteed.


Customers must retain the damaged or incorrect merchandise for inspection or return it if requested in order to qualify for a replacement.


5. Order Cancellations and Modifications (Online Orders):
Orders placed online may be modified or canceled only if Magnolia Cremations has not yet commenced the provision of services. Customers must contact Magnolia Cremations immediately after placing an order to request a cancellation or modification.


Once any service activities — such as transportation, filing of documents, or preparation for cremation — have begun, the order is deemed non-cancelable and non-refundable.


Customers are encouraged to carefully review all orders prior to submission. Magnolia Cremations remains available to assist with any questions or requested changes prior to the commencement of services.


6. Additional Terms:
All refunds, credits, exchanges, and replacements are provided at the sole discretion of Magnolia Cremations. Refunds, when issued, will be processed to the original form of payment unless otherwise agreed. Shipping fees, governmental filing fees, and third-party service charges are non-refundable unless the return results from an error solely attributable to Magnolia Cremations.
