Lewis Hampton Washington, Jr., 62, passed away from the Delta variant (fully vaccinated) on September 3, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lewis Hampton Washington, Sr. and Wanda Rose Deborah Washington, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Reading, chess, walking his dogs, laughing, singing, and hugging were his favorite pastimes; but his favorite activity was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Dierks; son, Ryan Nottingham; daughter, Constance Jessica Rose Dierks-Washington; son-in-law, Cody Keeling; brother, William Washington; sister-in-law, Joyce Washington and their daughter Jenna. His other sister-in-law's include; Bessie James, Annette and Peggy Mitchell, Cheryl Cox, Katie Dierks, Sandy Donaldson, and Jeanne Marie Groene, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a plethora of dearly loved friends.

Lewis' memorial service will be held September 8th at 7 pm, it will be live streamed from Jeffersontown Christian Church's website, Facebook and Youtube.
