Dan C. Burkhart "Pops", 78, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2021. He was a native of Louisville, Ky, a retired dispatcher/cab driver of 45 years at Yellow/Checker Cab of Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lt. Col. Ralph Clayton Burkhart, USAF and Dorothy Ruth Bivins Burkhart and an aunt Reba Bivins. Survivors include three sons John, Dan and Joshua Burkhart and one step daughter Loreal Wilson, 6 grandchildren, and multiple great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
