Marvin Lee Hodges

Marvin Lee Hodges, 75, of Clarkson, KY, passed away peacefully in his home in Louisville, KY, on December 31, 2021.

He is the son of Ivan Hodges and Patricia Puckett, both who preceded him in death.

Marvin worked as a route driver at Spalding’s Linen Service for 30 years and spent 15 years working as a truck driver and teamster union steward for the Courier Journal.

He was a storyteller who enjoyed fishing with his son-in-laws, taking his family on vacation to the beach,
Sunday drives, and was an avid Kentucky basketball fan.

Marvin is survived by his daughters, Bethany (Eric) Young and Kelly Hodges; sister, Joyce Hodges; brothers, Richard Brown, and Charles Brown; grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler), Carlee, Summer, and Collin; three great-grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Jean Hodges.
