Darell J. Goffinet

Darell J. Goffinet, age 81, of Tell City, Indiana passed away on October 9th, 2022. Darell was born in Leopold, Indiana on February 22nd, 1941 to Lonnie and Pauline Goffinet. He was a 1960 Graduate of Oil Township. Darell was a St. Paul’s Catholic Church member and a lifelong carpenter. He enjoyed gardening, watching the squirrels, playing his guitars, and listening to country and bluegrass music.
He was united in marriage on May 11th, 1979 to Patsy (Wilgus) who preceded him in death.
Darell is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Josh) Young of Florida and Lena (Darin Braunecker) Goffinet of Tell City, Indiana; four grandchildren, Emerald (Jaylen) Harris of Tell City and Hannah, Josh Jr, and Sam Young of Florida; as well as one brother, Duane (Esther) Goffinet.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Perry County (HSPC).
