Faye Helen (Bowley) Duncan peacefully went to be one of God’s newest Angels, surrounded by her loving family at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY at 2:55am on February 2, 2023.
Faye was born on September 17, 1949 in Evansville, IN to Henry and Mary Bowley. She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Billy Herron; and sister, Sherry Hilde.
Those left to cherish her loving memory are her daughter, Lisa Farley and her husband, Shane of Hardinsburg, KY; son, Chuck Hibbs and his wife, Teresa of Shepherdsville, KY; sisters, Bettye Matthews and Cathy Cecil, both of Owensboro; and her brother, David Bowley of Hardinsburg. Three grandchildren, Travis and Collette Whitworth and Tyler Farley; and three great grandchildren, Izabella and Raina Buchanan and Skylar Farley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the immeasurable support and care given by the staff at Owensboro Health as well as Magnolia Cremations, who was entrusted with her arrangements.
Faye will be deeply loved and missed and will remain forever in the hearts and minds of her family and all who knew her.

To my amazing Mother in heaven, please thank God for blessing me with 53 years of your love, kindness, support, and inspiration! Thank you Ma, for always loving me beyond measure and for all of the sacrifices you made to make my life better. Even though you’re no longer here with me physically, I can still feel your incredible love and spirit guiding me each and every moment of each and every day. And God, I want to take this moment not to ask for anything, but to simply say “Thank You†for my Mom! Ma, you are and always will be in my heart and soul…my first true love.
