Born on March 1, 1987, in Towson, Maryland, Adam was the beloved son of Nancy Harper and the late Steven Harper, who preceded him in death in May 2025. He was the cherished brother of Sean Harper and Grant Harper.
Adam was husband to Audrine Harper for eight years and her partner in life for fifteen years. Together, they built a family and shared four children: his stepdaughter, Hailee Austin, and his children, Arianna Harper, Milania Harper, and Anthony Harper. Like many, Adam faced personal struggles throughout his life, but those who knew him best recognized his love for his family and his desire to be remembered for the good he brought to others.
A talented chef for more than fifteen years, Adam dedicated his life to the culinary arts. His passion, creativity, and exceptional skill earned him recognition as Best Chef in Howard Magazine in 2020 while serving at Iron Bridge Wine Company in Columbia, Maryland. He later helped open the acclaimed LĀK Restaurant, where he continued to share his love of food and innovative cuisine with countless guests. Most recently, Adam brought his talent to LouVino Douglass Hills Restaurant & Wine Bar in Louisville, Kentucky. Though his time there was brief, he quickly became a beloved member of the team, earning the admiration of coworkers and guests alike through his warmth, dedication, and passion for creating memorable dining experiences. His impact on every kitchen he worked in and every person he served will be remembered for years to come.
Adam will be remembered for his extraordinary ability to bring people together through food, his boisterous laugh, quick wit, and unforgettable sense of humor. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, whether through a carefully prepared meal or a shared story around the table. His warmth, generosity, and larger-than-life presence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Adam's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched.
