Anthony "Tony" Lee Westbrook

09/29/1956 - 06/15/2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Anthony “Tony” Lee Westbrook on
June 15, 2026, at the young age of 69. Tony passed away peacefully in Louisville,
Kentucky.

Born in Texarkana, Arkansas in 1956 to Bob and Louise Westbrook, Tony grew up with
3 other siblings. Sports were one of his greatest passions, especially baseball. Growing
up, he played shortstop, where he built lifelong memories and developed the
competitive spirit that stayed with him throughout his life. Whether playing or watching
from the sidelines, his love for all sports never faded.

As Tony got older, he found an even deeper love for the outdoors and found peace on
the water, fishing, and in the woods, hunting. Whether casting a line at sunrise or
spending a quiet early morning hunting, these moments brought him joy and a sense of
connection to nature. Through fishing and hunting, he created memories that his loved
ones will treasure forever.

Tony is survived by his daughter Lindsey (Adam) Stemle; his granddaughters, Harper,
16, and Lennon, 13, of Kentucky; his brothers, Andy (Carolyn) Westbrook and Bobby
Westbrook, both of Arkansas; his sister, Debbie Bennett of Tennessee; nieces,
nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob”
Westbrook and Louise Hamilton Westbrook, of Arkansas and Tennessee, as well as
many other family members and friends.

In accordance with his wishes, the immediate family will hold a private ash-scattering
ceremony to be held at a later date.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in honor of Tony’s life to the
Tennessee Wildlife Federation, to support that of which was meaningful to him,
