Avery Auntonio Moore passed away on December 22, 2025. He was born on December 12, 1981.

Avery is survived by his brother, Adrian Moore; his sister, Tiffany Wideman; and his sister-in-law, Beth Moore. He is also lovingly remembered by his significant other, Ashley Hess, and her children, Tayshaun Smith and Layla Smith. In addition, Avery leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who cherished him deeply. Avery never met a stranger—to know him was truly to love him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Mae Moore.

Avery had a vibrant personality and many passions. He loved karaoke and had a creative spirit, especially enjoying drawing and painting, at which he was very talented. He was devoted to collecting vinyl records and took great pride in his collection. Avery also had a love for movies and was well known for quoting his favorite lines.

Avery attended Greenwood High School in Greenwood, South Carolina, where he graduated in 2000. He later continued his education and graduated from Lander University.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Even though we never met Avery, we send our deepest sympathy. Whenever you shared pictures on Facebook, he was always smiling ! Cherish those special years with him.

He was a very cool guy. Great at knowing movies. We were both great at movie knowledge. I remember first meeting him in Walmart in Radcliff years ago. He was a kind hearted, awesome guy and he’ll be missed dearly. RIP Avery.
