Barry Davidson

Barry Davidson, 74, died Sunday May 31st 2026 at U of L Hospital. He was born on August 20th, 1951. In his younger years, Barry attended The University of Louisville, played drums professionally and had many entrepreneurial endeavors. He loved dogs, nature, capturing footage of his girls when they were little on a VHS camera, fishing, and Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alpha Barnard Davidson; his mother, Sonia Davidson; his father, Melvin Davidson; and his sister, Sharon Davidson.

He is survived by his three daughters, Brittany Jones, Aimee Vuyovich, and Andrea Davidson; his sons-in-law, Brad Jones and Robert Vuyovich; his grandchildren, Parker Tuck, Jaden Davidson, Addy Jones, and Caleb Jones; and his brother, Mike Davidson. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Jaxx.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration of life will be held. No public services are planned at this time.

Though Barry lived a simple and private life, he will be remembered by his friends for his kindness, compassion and quiet generosity.
